Overview

The Nike SB Nyjah Free 3 Zoom Air Skate Shoes are built around what Nyjah Huston needs for serious skating: light, responsive, and technical. The vulcanized construction keeps the shoe flexible and close to the board, while Zoom Air units in the insole add cushioning without stacking up the heel height.

The outsole is cored out in a honeycomb pattern, shaving weight while keeping grip where you need it. Mesh panels and cutouts in the upper keep airflow going during long sessions, so your feet stay comfortable even when you're grinding it out.

The plastic heel clip and lace wing add structure and durability at the back of the shoe, and pull tabs make getting them on and off easy. The overall build feels closer to a performance trainer than a traditional skate shoe, which is exactly the direction Nyjah pushed this one.

Vulcanized - Vulc shoes are light, flexible and break in quickly. These don't provide as much foot protection as cupsoles, but they are preferred if youre looking for good board feel in a shoe with less weight and bulk.

Details

Cored Out Rubber Outsole - Interior of the rubber outsole is cored out in a honeycomb pattern for weight reduction and flexibility.

Zoom Air Units in Insole - Independent Nike Zoom Air units provide incredibly thin cushioning and bring the foot closer to the ground for enhanced stability, especially during quick cuts and multi-directional movements.

After impact, the tightly stretched fibers inside the pressurized air units quickly bounce back into shape, providing a responsive feel and improved awareness of the surface you’re on.

Mesh Panels for Breathability - The mesh panels do what they're supposed to, keep your feet feeling comfortable.

I was really hoping this shoe would be good. Turned out great. Fit is perfect. Like a trainer / runner that you can skate. We shall see about longevity. But yeah I’m happy about these!
